WORD OF THE LORD, for 2008

You have been crying out for change, and change has come, even now, says the Lord.
Changing of the garments, changing of the guard, changing of the regimen, changing of the
inner motivations of the heart. For in order for true change to come, a change that will affect
your world..... that will revolutionize the church world....that will rock and shake the foundations....a radical change must begin on the inside of you. For unless my bride is changed, until my sons are manifested, until my warriors are risen up at the gate, then change is no more than a fleeting dream. But change IS on the horizon. Change IS taking place. Transformation IS arising from within.

In 2008, a new holy boldness will emerge in My body of believers. No longer will passivity be the norm. No longer will mediocrity be acceptable or tolerable. Passiveness will give way to confrontation. A warrior spirit will rise to the surface.

Spiritual hunger and thirst will thrust believers unto new thresholds, new wineskins, and new vehicles of revival. "Why sit we here, till we die?" This will be the motivational cry that compels believers to new arenas of faith. A holy dissatisfaction will arise. This holy discontent will propel believers out of their comfort zones, and out of their "boats", unto a moving forth in a faith that will "walk on the water" at the living fresh Word of the Lord!

Fasting and prayer is critical this year, especially as you intercede for the destiny of this nation. Satan has a hidden agenda, but his plans cannot succeed if my people intercede. Do not take for granted the liberties and freedoms you have enjoyed in this nation. The Church must be discering in this hour, for there are hidden agendas. Pray for revelation, discernment, and wisdom. Pray that the hand of the enemy be blocked in political arenas. Pray that the hand of the enemy be blocked from without and from within.

A fresh revelatory wind is blowing. Teaching will be intensified, as age-old truths from My Word become lethal weapons in the hands of the Church. This is the time to go deeper, Church. Be saturated with the depths of My Word. Carnality must be removed from My Church. True Spirituality must emerge and resurface in My Church. Don't linger on the outer fringes of revival, but jump into the depths of revival and refreshing. Go deeper. Grasp hold of My Anointing and My Power in new realms of expository preaching, and revelatory teaching. Don't settle  for old manna. Require and demand of yourself, that you receive fresh manna.

A sifting and separating is taking place. Chaff is being removed. Impurities are being removed from My Church as a refining is taking place. Priorities are being re-evaluated. Modesty and humility are returning. All that would take the eyes away from Chirst is being exposed as falsehoods, and unholy distractions. Simplicity and profound truths will meet at the Cross. Profound truths will come forth from the simplicity of the Cross. All that distracts from the Cross will be exposed as vanity and pride. Out of a deeper revelation of death, even the death of the Cross, will come a deeper revelation of LIfe, even the LIfe of Christ.

2008 is a balance year. Yes, a year that many people and may things will be weighed in the balance. For many will return to balance this year. Things that had gotten off course, and out of balance, will be dealt with and corrected, under the refining Hand of My Spirit. My people will emerge balanced in Word and in power, in authority and in grace, in mercy and in truth, in love and in judgment. You will not walk "off" balance, if you allow me to bring corrections into your life.

So Come Running and leaping into 2008!
Believe and receive that Revival is at the Gate!
For I, the Lord your God, will not be late!
Jump in the Spirit, and do not hesitate!
A New Mantle is upon you, a Mantle of Great Grace!
Run with the Message, you will win this Holy Race!

For the weapons of your warfare are not in the flesh!
If you walk in the Spirit, you will pass every test!
For a carnal Church, I do not desire
But a remnant people, of holy fire!
For Satan is seeking whom he may devour
But know that he's defeated, the devil is a liar!

In 2008, the Church will hit the mark!
Aiming for the glory, yes, it's time to start!
You will outwit the enemy, his snares you will outsmart
By walking in the glory realm, in the hidden man of the heart
With songs of deliverance, you will sing like a lark
Battlefields are being recovered, a holy army will march

Keep your eyes on the prize as you are Spirit-led!
In 2008, I will do just what I have said!
